Contortion
You always wanted to be able to do splits, a Cheststand or contortion handstand? No one is too old to start with! The Contorsion Training is aimed not only at artists, dancers, but also at pole acrobats, aerial artists and anyone who wants to further increase his flexibility. You will learn correct backbends and deepen the mobility of the entire body, from neck, over shoulder, upper back, spine, hips and legs with active and passive stretching exercises. In addition, we gradually learn to combine this mobility with ellbow and handstands.
If you are new to stretching, we recommend our stretching course, where you will learn how to warm up and learn the basics.
Our trainers are professional contortionists and use their experience to develop a personalized training that helps them to achieve specific goals and learn new tricks.
Our Levels:
Beginner – You are able to do a split maximum 5cm above the ground.
Intermediate – You have previous contortion experience and are able to do a clean split and a bridge confidently.
Please warm up independently 30 minutes prior to class.
Advanced – You are advanced in contortion and have mastered a bridge from a standing position.
