For the first time at IVA Berlin?
Then we welcome you invite you to just join in!
We regularly offer Absolute Beginner Specials, in which you can learn basic techniques such as climbing etc.
If you already have experience with Aerial or Pole, you can go directly into one of our current courses. The Level Beginner to Intermediate can be determined by yourself. We advise you to stack something deep in the first time.
As you book courses, you will find the FAQ “How to book a course” here.
Who can join?
Everybody older than 15* years can participate! You do not have to be professionals, nor have any other sports skills to attend our courses. We are looking forward to everyone with whom we can share our passion for pole dancing, acrobatics, aerial acrobatics and stretching. Through our extra small groups, we can tailor the training individually to the individual participants and thus also every beginner will progress quickly.
*For participants under the age of 18, we require written permission from a parent.
We offer special children’s courses for all under 15 years of age at www.katakids.de .

If you do not have an account with us, please use the button “Register”. If you have forgotten your password, you can also reset it here.
After signing up you will see the products you can use to book the course and below you will find our cancellation policy.
If necessary, note the requirements that you should bring with you to enjoy this course (especially Intermediate and Advanced courses). If you do not have an account, you can still select our offers and then log in / login / register.
After selecting your product and accepting our AGBS, you will be redirected to payment. Here you have the choice between PayPal, credit card and Sofortüberweisung. After completing your payment, your course is booked.
You can see your appointments and orders via a submenu under your name right above the course plan (click).
Please always use the same email to sign up to access your credits without restrictions. Do not create a new account, because otherwise existing orders can be lost.
In individual cases, e.g. During spontaneous visits, you can also pay directly to the trainer or our desk. Keep in mind that there must be free space in the class for you to participate
How to pay?
At our Timetable you have the possibility to buy drop in classes or 5 to 10 times cards and pay with PayPal, bank deposit or credit card.
Contracts can be paid by direct debit or bank transfer. For the direct debit procedure we need your account details and a signed sepa direct debit mandate, which you can get at the desk. Please pay attention to correctly entered data and a covered account, as we charge 15 € for return direct debits.
Can I pay cash when I get there?
Our classes are kept very small and we are keen to keep prices at its minimum, which means we are dependent on every participant paying and booking their class in advance.
If you decide to take a class last minute and there is still availability up to two hours before, you can come and pay in cash at reception or with the trainer. Be aware that if someone books a space online last minute, or the class is cancelled, you could turn up and not be able to take part.
We definitely recommend booking via our online booking system, just so you can be sure you’re booked in and you’ll be informed of any last minute changes as well.
How to change/cancel a booking?
Up to 24 hours before the start of the course you can change or delete your booking independently in the upper right corner of your account on the page “Course plan” under “My bookings”. Your course credit will then be credited back to your IVA account and you can book new courses with it. After consultation with us you can also send a friend as a replacement in exceptional cases, provided that the level corresponds to her sporting abilities. Since our courses are kept very small and we are therefore dependent on full courses to keep prices low, later refunds are unfortunately not possible.
What can I do if the class is sold out?
If all the spots in your preferred class are already fully booked, you can use the Eversports app to put yourself on the waiting list yourself.
You can find the app here. There you can log in with the data registered with us (please make sure not to create a new account so that your purchased products are not lost). Now you can book, view or change your courses. New products can also be purchased with the app.
For each fully booked course there is a waiting list, should a place become available you will receive a push notification and can book the place. Be sure to allow push notifications in the app so that you will be informed immediately if someone signs out, because the first-come-first-serve principle applies.
The fee only applies when you book the spot.
What are cards?
In our timetable you can buy block cards with up to 20% discount, with which you can participate in 5 or 10 classes. These are available as Basic and Premium cards. With Basic Credits you can participate in all Basic classes, with Premium Credits you can participate in all regular classes.
Register as early as possible with the credits you have earned to secure your place in the corresponding courses. You can find out how to book courses under “How to book a course” here in the FAQ.
Please note that the credits are only valid for 3 months. This means that you have to use up your credit during this time, otherwise it will expire.
What Pole class is best for me?
To get started, we recommend our First Timer Pole Course or the Absolute Beginner Special. If you already have enough previous knowledge, you can also enter an advanced course right away. Our trainers will be happy to help you with the choice of courses.
What Aerial class is best for me?
If you are an absolute newcomer and have never done aerial sports like Aerial Silks, Trapeze or Aerial Hoop before, it is best to first visit our First Timer. First Timers for Aerial Arts take place every first Sunday of the month. So you can find out for only 15 Euro if you like the sport.
For Aerial Silks there are also so-called Absolute Beginner Specials. There you will learn climbing, first figures and basics in peace and quiet.
If you already have aerial experience, you can join one of our current classes directly. You can choose the level Beginner, Intermediate, Intermediate yourself. We advise you to rather start with a a lower level the first time, because nobody is underchallenged in our small groups!
What should I wear?
For Pole Dance:
You’ll need to be able to grip your legs and arms on the pole, which is why we recommend you to wear shorts and a tight-fitting sleeveless T-shirt you’ll feel comfortable in. Feel free to bring some long leggings over the top for the warm up.
For Aerial Classes:
We recommend you to wear long leggings and a tight-fitting long-sleeved shirt. It’s important that your skin is covered, so you won’t burn it with the silks. You also don’t want to wear something that will cover your face when you go upside down.
For our Stretching Classes:
Wear something stretchy that’ll keep your back and legs warm.
What are your levels?
Level 0: First Timer, Absolute Beginner, Stretching
In our first timers on every first Saturday of the month you can try out any Disziplin and see if you enjoy training. There are no requirements for First Timer.
The Absolute Beginner level is available for Aerial Silks and Pole Dance. In this course you will learn basics like climbing and foot knots. So, if you’ve never been to the cloth, or the Pole, and plan on joining one of our courses, we kindly ask you to book an Absolute Beginner Special. There are no requirements for this special.
The stretching course is the best way to start the contortion courses, where you can learn how to warm up properly and slowly get used to difficult stretching techniques.
Level 1: Beginner
The Level Beginner is available in all disciplines in the IVA and is the suitable beginner level for all equipment except Aerial Silks (see above). It is an advantage if you have previously visited a first timer (see above), but not absolutely necessary. The beginner course will teach you basic figures and techniques, such as Aerial Inverts taught and trained strength and flexibility.
With Silks, the level beginner assumes that you can already climb and do foot knots. You’ll learn that and much more in the Aerial Silks Absolute Beginner Special.
Level 2: fortgeschrittene Intermediate
The level Beginner / Intermediate is not suitable for beginners! It requires the knowledge of the basic figures and techniques on the individual devices and, of course, the ability to execute them. Example Aerial Invert in the air should not cause any problems with your device! In Beginner / Intermediate, first sequences and smaller choreographies are trained and strength and flexibility are further developed.
Level 3: Intermediate
For the Intermediate level, you should have trained for at least 1 year on your particular device or have received a trainer recommendation *. It requires the power, flexibility and stamina you need to create a choreography on your device.
Level 4: Strong Intermediate
For the Intermediate / Advanced level, you should have trained for at least 2 years on your particular device or have received a coach recommendation *. You work on advanced tricks and combinations and we will support your own style.
Level 5: Advanced (only with coach recommendation)
For the level Advanced you need a coach recommendation *.
All Level: (not for absolute Beginner)
Here you can develop individual wish tricks with your trainer. But you should be in a position to be able to train independently according to the instructions.
* A coach’s recommendation is that one of our IVA coaches suggested you attend a higher level.
You can find more information about the individual class levels under “Our offers” in the corresponding section.
